At its core, Fourth Front is working to change how general aviation maintenance is performed - improving the customer experience with transparency, communication and efficiency. Fourth Front also operates an aviation service division focused on testbed operations with a King Air.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager, Aircraft Operations at Fourth Front Aviation in Santa Monica, CA. The role will be responsible for the operations, scheduling and maintenance of Fourth Front's unique fleet of King Airs. Over time, the GM will be responsible for all aspects of the P&L, including marketing, sales, hiring, etc.
This role will require a background in FAA regulatory management, specifically navigating certification pathways for both standard type-certificated and experimental aircraft, including: STCs, field approvals, and experimental flight test authorizations under 14 CFR.
Qualifications
- >5 years in a maintenance or operating role responsible for multiple aircraft
- Experience navigating certification pathways for both standard type-certificated and experimental aircraft, including STCs, field approvals, and experimental flight test authorizations under 14 CFR
- Significant experience working directly with the FAA
- Familiarity with King Air B300 strongly preferred
- Flight test experience strongly preferred
- >2 years P&L leadership experience is preferred
- Experience leading complex, federally regulated programs
- Proven ability to recruit and schedule employees, including contractors and pilots
