At our indoor facility you have the opportunity to contribute your skills to a continuously growing Aquatics program. We offer private lessons and group programs such as Junior Guards preparation, Pre Team, Intro to Water Polo, Fundamentals, and a Master’s group class. As well as summer open water events.

We offer private lessons and group programs such as Junior Guards preparation, Pre Team, Intro to Water Polo, Fundamentals, and a Master’s group class. As well as summer open water events.

A highlight of working here is that meals are provided and you can see the ocean from our break room. You also have the opportunity to step outside and take your breaks in the sand. Another great benefit of working here is that after two years of employment, you will have the opportunity to apply for the Jonathan Club Scholarship Program for yourself and/or dependents.

This is a fantastic opportunity that can help you reach your educational goals. We also have a supportive 401k program for eligible employees.

Part time instructors must commit to working at minimum one consistent after school weekday shift and one consistent weekend shift. Our program is scheduled in a 3 month block, so coaches must be able to offer and commit to their schedules in advance. Flexible but consistent, hours are great for working around school schedules or another job.

Please note this position is a seasonal/part time opportunity.

3 years of competitive swim team experience, aquatic related sports or experience working with kids is preferred.

Current Red Cross Lifeguard certification is required.

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter who is capable of working alone and with a team
• Must be confident with multiple children who are at different swim levels in the same group
• Must attend in-service trainings as part of team
• Must be ok getting in and out of the water multiple times
• Must be able to respond to an emergency in a calm, effective manner
• Capable of lifting 30+ pounds overhead
• Willing to assist other team members when needed
• Light office work and cleaning when not on deck
• Willing to lifeguard if needed
• Current Lifeguard certification required
• Availability to work weekends

Pay Rate: $20/hour - S25.00/hour
