* Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger, Postman, or OpenAPI.
* Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building scalable, distributed systems.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
* Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
* Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.

DB**:
Proficiency in database design, optimization, and management.
* ** Expertise in Node.js**:
Experience in building scalable server-side applications.

Skills:

*** Knowledge of API gateway technologies such as AWS API Gateway.
* Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools, particularly as they relate to API deployment and monitoring.
* Understanding of caching strategies and technologies such as Redis or Memcached for optimizing API performance.
* Experience in building APIs that comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly in healthcare.
* Experience with Vue.js and React for frontend development is highly desirable but not required.
* Experience with Graph

QL or gRPC in addition to REST APIs is nice to have.
** Responsibilities:
*** Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable APIs that meet the needs of our applications and clients.
* Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Ensure API security, including implementing authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and standards.
* Optimize API performance, including latency, throughput, and scalability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API functionality, performance, and integration.
* Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and technical leadership in API development.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API development, and continuously improve our API architecture and practices.
