Summary
maintains, repairs, and operates commercial chiller systems. They may also provide technical guidance to other mechanics. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, repair, and operate chiller systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide technical guidance to other mechanics
- Install, test, and commission equipment
- Advise on system installation and identify system issues
- Respond to service calls
- Troubleshoot and support breakdowns
- Participate in customer meetings
Requirements
- Extensive experience with HVAC systems, particularly with chillers
- Experience with various control systems and chillers
- Ability to safely use ladders
- Ability to maneuver confined access areas
- Ability to access rooftops at heights of 15' to 20'
Working conditions
- May be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, and noisy operating equipment
- May require regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders
