Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorizations, issuing visitor badges, and directing visitors to approved areas in a healthcare location;
Monitor access control points and related systems, assist with bag or package checks when required by site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry and tailgating;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical or facility emergencies, disruptive persons, and access-related alarms;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns to site leadership
