- The Parts Manager is responsible for planning, motivating and coordinating of the Parts Department through leadership and solid business practices. This position will strive to return a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory by the proper application of purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising.
- Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, wholesale accounts and retail business.
- Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
- Ensures the same high-level of quality of service provided to outside customers is also profited to internal dealership customers.
- Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years' experience as a Parts Manager; experience with Porsche preferred
$120,000 to $175,000 per year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including minimum guarantee, commissions, bonuses, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. Employees in this position will be paid a minimum guarantee of $70,304 per year. Commissions are expected to range from $49,700 to $105,000 per year based on performance.
