Èlephante is a coastal Italian restaurant in Santa Monica known for fresh Mediterranean flavors, wood-fired pizzas, and handmade pastas—served in one of LA’s most stunning oceanfront settings. We’re looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to keep our kitchen running smoothly and help set the stage for exceptional dining experiences.

If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about food, this is your chance to grow with a dynamic culinary team just steps from the beach.

• Wash, chop, portion, and prep ingredients according to recipes
• Keep your station (and the entire kitchen) clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols for labeling and storage
• Assist with opening/closing duties, restocking, and side work
• Support the line during service by staying organized and responsive
• Report equipment issues promptly to management
• Uphold Department of Health and company sanitation standards

• Previous prep or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
• Food Handler’s Certificate (can be obtained after hire)
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Competitive wage: $22/hour
