Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift - Exciting opportunity for a passionate Labor and Delivery RN! - Specialty in Labor and Delivery with a focus on high-quality patient care.- Join a dynamic team in a facility with 200-300 births per month.
- Work in a well-equipped environment with:
- 4 antepartum rooms - 9 labor and high-risk delivery rooms - 3 triage rooms - Interdisciplinary support from a variety of services, including Respiratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections.
- Conduct fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring.
- Float to postpartum care as needed, providing couplet care for mothers and newborns.
- Participate in emergency situations with a collaborative team.
- Promote patient privacy, especially when caring for high-profile patients.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM.
- Preferred skills include scrub experience for C-sections and managing labor and delivery procedures.
- Must be comfortable floating between Labor and Delivery and postpartum units.
Schedule:
- Night shifts: 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30) - Weekend coverage required every other weekend.
- No on-call shifts necessary. Special Notes:
- Open to accommodating block schedules at manager's discretion.
