RN Admission/PACU – Full Time

Endoscopy Center of Southern California (ECSC) is hiring a Registered Nurse for Admission/PACU. We believe health and care are inseparable and focus on offering a high‑quality, service‑oriented environment for surgical procedures, with 2 procedure rooms using advanced technology in the specialty area of Gastroenterology.

Job Summary

The Admission/PACU RN coordinates nursing care, collects and analyzes assessment data, determines nursing diagnoses, identifies expected outcomes, and collaborates with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team. The Pre‑Admissions RN identifies interventions, implements the plan of care, evaluates progress toward outcomes, and documents the process. This role provides continuity and quality care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy, and may assist physicians in the procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques.

The RN also provides comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for discharge preparation.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $62.00/hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
  • 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
