We are a tech startup based in Los Angeles, looking to hire a Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join the team.

• Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
• Design and manage posting schedule on all social media platforms, including but not limited to Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, and more.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other platforms for graphics creation and content design.
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics, and report on social media KPIs.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout).
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions.
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Media/Marketing Specialist or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
• Experience with audience and buyer persona research.
• Familiarity with web design and publishing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other visual design tools.
• Knowledge of online marketing channels.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical and multitasking skills.
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
• BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field.
