Description Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Part time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts.

Responsibilities- Assess needs, administers, and evaluates response to respiratory care procedures such as oxygen therapy and bronchial hygiene therapies such as HHN and PD/CPT.
- Provide invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilatory support and CPR.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and evaluate newborns status including intubations when necessary.
- Perform arterial, capillary, and cord blood draws and analyze with an arterial blood gas instrument.
- Assist nursing staff with EKGs and Cardiac Heart Disease screening tests.
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

California Respiratory Care Practitioner License Or California Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - Within 90 days of hire:
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association - Within 90 days of hire:
National Provider PALS - American Heart Association - 1 year Experience following RCP licensure.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
