** Description
* * As a valued member of our 5NW Geriatrics Unit, you will serve under the direct supervision of a nurse manager in order to assist patients with admissions, transfer, and discharge; personal hygiene and excretory needs; meals; and patient safety/comfort. Salary Range: $26.57 – $35.02 hourly
** Qualifications
* * We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
* CNA certification, required
* BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
* 1 year of inpatient CNA experience at a medical center/hospital with high patient acuity, preferred.
* Ability to pass an 8 hour computer data entry training course
* Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to delegated nursing, PT/OT, and RT assisted tasks
* Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred
* Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information
