Objective
The Lead Caregiver/Office Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of caregiving tasks and clerical duties, which include providing non-medical home care such as personal care and companionship, as well as greeting new applicants for training, picking up activity logs from client’s homes, and assist and support other staff members with clerical tasks to provide the highest quality service to clients and Care Pros.
PAY RATE: $18-$20/HR
Objective
The Lead Caregiver/Office Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of caregiving tasks and clerical duties, which include providing non-medical home care such as personal care and companionship, as well as greeting new applicants for training, picking up activity logs from client’s homes, and assist and support other staff members with clerical tasks to provide the highest quality service to clients and Care Pros.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reflect the core values of (Kavis Healthcare), (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).
- Demonstrate open and effective communication, communicate client and CAREGiver concerns or problems with Managers and Owner
- Be available for caregiving shifts Saturdays and Sundays from 9a 6p
- Companionship Duties May Include:
- Conversation and Life Review
- Mobility Assistance to prevent falls
- Light Meal Cooking/Reheating
- Light Housekeeping (Dusting, vacuuming, making bed/changing linens, washing used dishes, tidying bathrooms/bedrooms/kitchens/living rooms)
- Transportation for Appointments and outings/Running Errands
- Personal Care Duties May Include:
- Bed bathing/Bathing Assistance, Grooming
- Incontinence Care/Changing Adult Diapers, Toileting Assistance
- Pivot Transfers
- Repositioning
- Specialized Care Duties May Include:
- Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia
- Hospice/End of Life Care
- Couples Care
- Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm, and professional manner
- Sundays from 8:45a to 9:45a be in the office to allow trainee entry and set up TV for training
- Be available on the 1st and 16th of every month to pick up logs and bring to the office
- Travel to each LTC Client to pick up activity logs for the previous billing period and bring to the office
- Assist with PPE Delivery for clients/CAREGivers
- Track office supplies and report when orders are due
- Perform all other functions deemed necessary
- High school graduation or the equivalent
- One year of paid CARE Giving/Facility experience OR Proof of CNA Certification
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and Registered and Insured Vehicle
- Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Kavis Healthcare (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise)
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Must be able to establish good working relationships with management, colleagues, franchise owners and their staff
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to operate office equipment
- Must be able to operate HISC technology
- Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required
- Must be able to perform duties in a client’s home and professional office setting
