The Senior Echo cardiographic Technician produces diagnostic images using ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, training staff, maintaining quality control, participating in and facilitating meetings. The role involves rotation, supply monitoring, operating information systems, accurate billing, and record maintenance. The technician ensures a clean, safe work area, assists with data collection, and adheres to schedules and patient care standards. This position supports cardiology services within our Santa Monica and Westwood campus areas.
Rotations within this region are sometimes necessary and required to accommodate staffing needs.

Internal candidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder level
Staff Echo cardiographic Technician: $51.22 - $67.63 Hourly
Senior Echo cardiographic Technician: $61.46 - $81.12 Hourly
Salary Range: $51.22 to $81.12 Hourly

Please ensure your resume and application includes all relevant specialties with your work experience
- Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology Program - required
- Registered with ARDMS-RDCS (AE) for Adults or with ARDMS-RDCS (PE) for Pediatrics - required
- BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
- At least 3 years of Adult Echo experience - required for Senior Echo Tech
- Able to take call and report to duty within 60 minutes of request
- Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Ability to apply theory to practice in the application of ultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation of the target anatomy
- Ability to push the 500+ lb. echo machine for distances up to 100 feet within the office
