Tax Preparer

Overview

We are a successful and established Business Management firm located in Santa Monica. Our firm provides full financial, royalty and tax services to high profile musicians, entertainers and high net worth individuals. We are seeking a senior Tax Associate to work in our Santa Monica Office.

• 3 or more years of experience in tax accounting with an emphasis on self-employed, high net worth individuals and corporate tax
• Strong Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Experience in researching tax issues and exposure to a variety of entities and individual tax issues
• Knowledge of CCH Axcess tax software is a plus
• Experience in the preparation of multi state income tax returns is desired.
• Experience in researching tax issues primarily related to individual tax situations.
• CPA/EA or a BS degree in accounting with an emphasis in tax is preferred

• Working with other member of the client service team to analyze client data and prepare work papers and tax returns for complex multi-state tax returns for Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals
• Completing all assigned compliance projects accurately, thoroughly and timely. We focus on efficiency and organization.
