Traditional schools confine high-potential students to lecture-based formats built around the average learner. Alpha operates differently: we deliver student-driven education that accelerates at the rate of each individual's capability, not at the fixed tempo of standardized curriculum.

Your role will not involve overseeing 30 students in rows or adhering to district-mandated lesson plans. Instead, you'll guide small cohorts of self‑motivated learners eager to advance faster, explore more deeply, and take ownership of their educational journey. Teaching certification is not necessary. Exceptional performance is.

• Inspiring and guiding students through consistent, one-on-one engagement—no traditional lectures, only high-impact peer-style mentorship.
• Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI tools to enable individualized pacing for every student.
• Facilitating focused small-group sessions on leadership development, life skills, and practical success frameworks.
• Supporting students in identifying their talents and broadening their goals via tailored growth roadmaps.
• Participating in the continuous evolution of Alpha's educational approach by providing data, observations, and innovative suggestions.

• Ability to work on-site at one of the following locations:
  Palo Alto, CA;
  Santa Monica, CA;
  Miami, FL;
  Chicago, IL;
  Santa Barbara, CA.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline.
• Proven track record of exceptional achievement (e.g., distinguished academic awards, Division 1/Olympic-level athletics, national-level competitions, etc.).
• 3 years of hands-on experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles.
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking abilities.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

Alpha is creating a new paradigm where students master core academics in just two hours a day, freeing up time for hands-on, passion-driven learning that truly prepares them for the real world.

This is a full-time (40 hours week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
