Your role is not to deliver traditional instruction—it's to coach. You will facilitate meaningful life skills sessions, inspire children to reach their learning milestones, and cultivate the mindset and behaviors essential for long‑term success.

What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one‑hour life skills sessions with K‑2 students, coaching them and reinforcing the reading instruction delivered by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem‑solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
- Monitoring student development and emerging needs, identifying concerns proactively, and modifying approaches in partnership with your team
- Building a classroom environment that balances structure, playfulness, and individualized attention
- Availability to work full‑time and on‑site at our campus in Chicago, IL;
Miami, FL;
Palo Alto, CA;
San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
- Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of capturing and sustaining the focus of young children in group settings
- Capacity to maintain high expectations for both yourself and your students, and to motivate children toward goal achievement
- Growth mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Working with UsThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
