Principal Visual Development Artist - Temp (SFD / Cinematics) Overview

Blizzard Entertainment seeks a Principal Visual Development (Visdev) Artist to establish cinematic concepts for an unannounced title and other projects. This temporary position is approximately 2 months, hybrid work with some onsite in Irvine, CA and remote arrangements as needed.

• Collaborate with Supervisors, Art Directors, Cinematic Directors, and Game Team counterparts.
• Interpret briefs by concepting environments, props, and assets through traditional and 3D methods, and generative AI tools as needed.

• 13+ years of extensive film/TV and/or industry experience.
• Proven professional digital art creation experience.
• Experience in graphic design, fine arts, and 2D/3D modeling.
• Strong foundational skills: anatomy, color theory, composition.
• Familiar with Blizzard IP visual style.
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and ZBrush.

Irvine, CA (hybrid work with remote options).

Base pay range: $116,800 – $216,000 per year.
