Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on managing and supporting order processes in SAP, coordinating outbound client issues, and ensuring seamless integration and functionality between teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and administrative work with a focus on supporting sales processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and support order-taking processes in SAP, including handling returns.
  • Coordinate with clients on all outbound-related issues, providing tracking and delivery support.
  • Allocate products and resources according to defined priorities and strategies.
  • Coordinate transportation services for inbound and outbound shipments, including ground, air, and sea transportation.
  • Execute stock transaction entries in SAP and conduct stock count operations based on guidelines.
  • Place and prioritize purchase orders, ensuring purchasing processes are adhered to.
  • Track shipments and communicate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Coordinate planning and monitoring of warehouse forecasts and inbound activities.
  • Ensure smooth payment processes in collaboration with the Accounting Department, serving as a key contact for verification and release of supplier invoices.
  • Support and manage pre-orders and in-season reorders for customers.
  • Prepare and maintain prices and order sheets, assess profitability, and create tailored presentations for key accounts.
  • Support operations and management to maintain strong alignment in day-to-day tasks, including reporting.
  • Support the operations of the employee store and coordinate with associates when needed.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer services, sales administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience in retail sales within the apparel/fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS-Office knowledge, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and accuracy.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Some retail experience is important.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience managing sales orders via SAP.
  • Ability to handle receiving and processing orders within a sales environment.
Work Environment

This position requires working 3-4 days onsite in Santa Monica, with hours from 8am to 5pm. The role offers a 6-month contract with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Monica, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
