Job Title:
Medical Office Administrative Assistant

Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
Compensation: $21-$24/hour DOE

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, fast-paced Medical Office Administrative Assistant to support a very active medical practice. This role requires someone who can manage a high volume of incoming tasks, stay calm under pressure, and keep the office running smoothly while juggling multiple responsibilities al for someone early in their career who thrives in a busy environment and excels at multitasking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Answer and route phone calls
  • Manage and update provider calendars
  • Coordinate scheduling for stress tests and other procedures
  • Perform general office and administrative tasks as needed
  • Handle a large volume of incoming requests efficiently and professionally
  • Support both virtual and in-person patient interactions
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of Medical office experience
  • Proven ability to stay calm and effective in stressful or high-volume environments
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Reliability, professionalism, and ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly
