Responsibilities

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The role requires greeting customers, maintaining a welcoming environment, and following company standards across work centers. Specific tasks include:

  • Engage with customers: make eye contact, smile, greet, and assist with merchandise and questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment; follow all safety practices and report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.
  • Assist customers at the register, handle transactions accurately, and follow MOS policies for stock and merchandise disposition.
  • Support brand representation and maintain professional appearance per company dress code.
  • Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting high-touch areas) and replenish restroom supplies as needed.
  • Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor and ensure items are presented per monthly guidelines.
  • Support loss prevention practices, merchandise protection standards, and store security awareness.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and achieve customer service and operational goals.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Effective communication with Customers, Associates, and Store Leadership in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store for up to 100% of shift; ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds (or more as required).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to use store equipment (PDTs, registers, PC) as required.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods; ability to perform repetitive motions and handle physical tasks as listed.
