We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a busy L&D unit supporting high-risk deliveries and postpartum care.
Unit Details- 14 L&D Beds
- 6 Triage Beds
- 2 OR Suites
- 28 Postpartum Beds
- ~250 Births per Month
- Laboring: 1:2
- Postpartum Couplet Care: 1:4
- Active RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN)
- C-Section Circulating Experience Required
- Scrubbing experience preferred
- Provide care for laboring and high-risk obstetric patients
- Circulate during C-section procedures
- Monitor fetal heart tracings
- Assist with antepartum and postpartum care when needed
- Collaborate with OB providers and neonatal team
- OB Tech support available day & night
- Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy available 24/7
- EMR:
Cerner
- No call required (may occasionally be placed on standby)
- L&D nurses may float to Postpartum
