As a Branch Manager in a Chase Branch, you will be at the forefront of delivering attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment that puts employees and clients first. You will lead and manage all aspects of the branch including growing deposits and investments, operations, and coaching the team for success. You will represent our brand and culture with the utmost hospitality, delivering the latest banking solutions and cutting-edge financial technology, as well as collaborating with our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs for clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the goals of the branch by leveraging the Branch Scorecard to identify strategies to successfully grow deposits and investments.
  • Prioritize understanding and meeting the needs of our clients to build lasting relationships and trust.
  • Build and cultivate a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and celebrating successes to boost morale and motivation.
  • Encourage ongoing learning and development within the team to keep skills sharp and stay ahead in the industry.

  • Ensure a strong risk and control environment by using sound judgment, acting with integrity, and protecting our company and clients, following policies and procedures.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Passion for creating exceptional experiences and setting the tone in the branch, ensuring every client feels valued and every team member is part of a dynamic and engaging culture.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with a proven track record of coaching and empowering employees, helping them achieve remarkable results and grow in their roles.
  • Strong multitasking and organization to manage competing priorities in the branch, with a focus on growth and success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, using sound decision-making to navigate challenges and lead the team confidently.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a strong risk and control environment, with a steadfast commitment to operational integrity and adherence to policies.
  • Desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect your team, partners, and clients with technology, making it accessible and exciting for everyone involved.
  • 2+ years of management, Retail Banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience.
  • High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • College degree or military equivalent.
Training and Travel Requirement
  • Successfully complete the Branch Manager Training Program before placement as a Branch Manager.
  • Travel as required for in-person training and meetings; some travel may be out-of-state.
Compliance and Legal

Dodd-Frank and Safe Act:
This position is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on review of criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to financial responsibility and fitness. Felony convictions within the last seven years may disqualify you. Employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/DODD-Frank Loan Originator requirements and SAFE Act registration.

Upon active employment, you will be required to register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect employment with JPMorgan Chase. Continued employment is contingent on compliance with the SAFE Act, successful registration immediately after start date, and timely annual renewal and updates. Information collected may be transferred to NMLS by JPMorgan Chase. Review all information you provide for accuracy and consistency with current NMLS records.

Federal Deposit Insurance Act:
This position is subject to Section 19 of the FDIA. Employment is contingent on criminal conviction history review, including pretrial diversions or program entries.
