Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will perform selected patients treatments under the direct supervision of a PT/OT, assisting in patient treatment, departmental and equipment maintenance, clerical duties, and other activities as directed. The Rehab Aide will be assigned to/rotated between clinical areas in outpatient (OP) care.
Job Qualifications- Shows initiative with assigned tasks
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic Life Support certified by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- More than 6 months of relevant Rehab Aide experience qualifies for Rehab Aide 2 title.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing, sitting during an eight to ten-hour day.
- Normal duties involve frequent lifting (up to 35 pounds), transferring patients, pushing a wheelchair up to 500 feet.
