Job SummaryThe Project Engineer is responsible for engineering and scheduling for the including drawing list and certification of deliverables. The Project Engineer will coordinate and ensure the completion of projects, identify and resolve issues, and oversee the work of the Design Engineers to ensure work is in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of assigned projects to ensure completion on time, on budget, and in compliance with regulations.
- Provide technical input to program management related to engineering components of the project for the creation of the project schedule; identify project elements and phases, sequence elements, and time estimates.
- Perform technical analysis, reviews specifications, and product design to develop a cost and time estimate.
- Monitor project progress and recommend schedule changes based on re-prioritization, materials availability, and as customer needs change.
- Assess impact of customer changes, time, cost, materials, and processes.
- Identify necessary tests that must be conducted during the engineering process. Monitor to ensure the completion of tests such as functionality, durability, and safety.
- Provide regular verbal or written updates based on KPIs and project status. Analyze data and recommend corrective action as needed.
- Monitor the work of Design Engineers for accuracy and technical competence; provide feedback as needed.
- Develop and maintain standard list of notes for use on 2D engineering drawings.
- May work with management and sales teams to review project proposals; identify and address potential issues as needed.
- Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Engineering experience:
Level I 0‑2 years;
Level II 2‑5 years;
Level III 5+ years. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lead a team comprised of multiple disciplines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Expert level experience with CATIA V5.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Proof of ability to work in the United States.
- MS Project.
- PLM system knowledge.
- AutoCAD familiarity.
- May be asked to work extended or irregular hours as required.

$90,000 - $130,000 annually
Up to 7% bonus potential (for bonus eligible positions)
