Job Summary

Pride Staff is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder for a premier fabrication facility in the Santa Fe, TX area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a consistent first-shift schedule in a stable, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision welding and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Precision Welding: Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of metals (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Carbon Steel) based on project specifications.
• Blueprints & Layout: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols to determine project requirements and sequences.
• Fabrication: Fit, align, and clamp components together to prepare for welding; use grinders and other hand tools to clean and finish welds.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for cracks, beads, or defects to ensure they meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Welder Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding thin-gauge materials and maintaining tight tolerances.
• Equipment Knowledge: Ability to set up and calibrate TIG welding machines according to metal type and thickness.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
• Reliability: Strong attendance record and a "safety-first" mindset.
