Bilingual Financial Coach

Starting Hourly: $26.00
Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for a Financial Coach to join our team! In this role, you'll support individuals and families by providing one‑on‑one financial coaching and delivering group education that helps community members build confidence in budgeting, credit, savings, and long‑term planning.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one‑on‑one financial coaching to individuals and families, helping them build confidence in budgeting, credit, savings, and long‑term financial planning.
Analyze member information, ask high‑impact questions, and offer accurate referrals with compassion and professionalism.
Deliver group‑based financial education and support the development of financial empowerment materials and presentations.
Collaborate with departments across the credit union to ensure members receive coordinated, effective support.
Maintain accurate documentation, manage coaching software, and follow internal procedures to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Experience: 1‑3 years of similar/related experience.
- Education: (1) A 2‑year college degree, or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in‑house training or apprenticeship program.
- Ability to read and understand credit reports is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
, including the ability to understand and speak fluently.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and occasionally bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and crouch. Some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets as necessary. The role involves frequent travel to events, branches, and community partners, requiring the employee to drive, transport materials and supplies, and set up materials or displays.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is also required when needed. Access to reliable transportation is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.
