Overview
The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within their team’s assigned territory. Sales Representatives must establish, build, and maintain customer relationships through regular communication and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. You will be consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of Arthrex products and procedures.
Responsibilities- Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Arthrex Colorado Springs is an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products by working with surgeons and health care professionals.
- Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, portfolio changes, and educational programs.
- Implement sales plans and effective marketing strategies to meet/exceed objectives.
- Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions.
- Address any problems that arise at accounts.
- Support compliance, privacy, confidentiality, and ethics requirements.
- Receive coaching/training from the sales manager and share knowledge with peers.
- Maintain training in sales skills, product features, and business applications.
- Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.
- Participate in meetings outside of regular business hours.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Education and Experience- Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to customers in orthopedic/sports medicine markets.
- Comfortable in open operating-room environments.
- Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology.
- Knowledge of operating room protocols.
- Ability to learn high-level technical information and anatomy.
- Ability to create a business plan (30/60/90).
- Strong public speaking and communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency.
