• Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Lead a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest customer experience
• Ensure customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department, providing guidance without prescribing
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team
• Unload and sort through store deliveries
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations and validate that others in the Vitamin team follow these procedures

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment
• Perform general housekeeping in the department (clean and dust)
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
• Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health
• Have strong organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb throughout the workday and lift/move up to 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance
• Ability to move a ladder to access product requiring a force up to 5 lbs. for up to 2 hours
• Move a 20 lb. utility cart up to 20 ft with a force up to 35 lbs. for up to 2 hours
• Be able to walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned
