Overview
Looking for meaningful work caring for animals? Part-time animal caregiver position with valuable on-the-job training supporting emotional and physical healing of animals. Animal caregiver responsibilities include all aspects of daily care and the feeding of dogs, horses and poultry, as well as the maintenance of their living areas, inside/outside.
Responsibilities- Daily care for dogs, horses and poultry, including feeding and maintenance of living areas inside and outside.
- Support elder and hospice animal care and non-profit sanctuary operations.
- Learn and practice the Wellness Care program.
- Sanctuary is a non-toxic environment on a 5-acre organic farm setting.
- Ideal for:
Veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, nursing, nursing assistant or similar experience with companion animal, farm animal or human care. - A commitment to ongoing learning is a requirement for this job.
