- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,840 - $1,940 per week
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state RN license (required)
- BLS Certification (AHA) – required
- ACLS Certification (AHA) – required
- PALS Certification (AHA) or ENPC – required
- TNCC or ATCN – required
- CPI or equivalent de-escalation training (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ED/ER) nursing experience; trauma and triage experience highly preferred
- Current knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the ED patient population (critical care, triage, rapid assessment)
- Coordinate and implement patient-centered care specific to the Emergency Department and emergency nursing practice
- Triage, assess, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and trauma-related conditions
- Deliver high-quality, efficient, and safe care in accordance with ED standards and organizational policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Respond to emergency and crisis situations with composure, critical thinking, and advanced nursing skills
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and ensure regulatory compliance
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and a commitment to patient safety and a smoke-free environment
- Experience with trauma protocols, rapid sequence intubation assistance, and management of critical patients
- Strong triage skills and ability to prioritize in a busy emergency department
- Familiarity with ED equipment and procedures, including ACLS/PALS algorithms
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
