Provides high quality professional nursing services in a variety of settings.

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for nurse visits in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.
• Responsible for Medication Refill Management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols.
• Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.

• Licensure:
  State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• Academic Preparation:
  Degree from accredited academic nursing program;
  Minimum ADN with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire.

• Professional Requirements: BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required for all;
  Additional training in CDS Outpatient, Oncology Chemotherapy certification, ACLS/PALS for urgent care; PALS for pediatric urgent care.

  Minimum new graduate or experienced nurse from an accredited nursing program.
• Credentials:
  Registered Nurse – NM.
