Responsibilities

Presbyterian is seeking a Hospice Nurse Manager who brings strong clinical leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospice care in New Mexico. This role requires a leader who excels in managing teams, supporting staff development, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment grounded in C.A.R.E.S. behaviors. The Hospice Nurse Manager oversees recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and daily operations while ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.

Success in this position includes driving process improvement, optimizing patient safety, managing budgets, and using data‑driven decision‑making to support evidence‑based practice. The leader also ensures care delivery aligns with the Synergy Model, emphasizing clinical judgment, advocacy, collaboration, systems thinking, and clinical inquiry.
