Join H&R Block as a Multi-Unit Team Leader Hrly and lead three tax offices.
About the RoleIn this part‑time leadership role you’ll manage three H&R Block tax offices, building and developing high‑performing teams. During the peak tax season (January‑April) the role transitions to full‑time, including evening and weekend hours. The position is on‑site only.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop front‑line associates across three offices.
- Deliver outstanding client experience and achieve all office growth objectives.
- Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office‑level growth plans.
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing associates.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and resolve associate issues.
- Build an engaging team environment, train and coach associates, and recognize outstanding contributions.
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information.
- Create and manage associate work schedules and ensure accurate time‑keeping.
- Travel between offices as required.
- Prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
- Multi‑unit people management experience (retail, restaurant, banking or related industry).
- People management experience with demonstrated growth and development of associates.
- Strong decision‑making, judgment, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer‑centric mindset.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
