Compensation: $105,000 - $145,000 (DOE) + Full Benefits
Position Overview
I am currently representing a premier New Mexico law firm seeking an experienced Transactional Real Estate Attorney for their Santa Fe office. This firm manages a sophisticated portfolio of land use, commercial development, and high-end residential transactions that define the unique Santa Fe landscape.
This is a strategic hire for an attorney with 5+ years of experience who is looking to transition into a firm that offers long-term stability and high-stakes work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Real Estate & Development:
Lead commercial acquisitions, dispositions, and complex land-use entitlements. - Specialized Contracts:
Draft and negotiate sophisticated purchase and sale agreements, easements, and development agreements tailored to New Mexico property law. - Commercial Leasing:
Represent landlords and tenants in retail, office, and industrial lease negotiations. - Corporate Structure:
Advise on entity formation (LLCs, partnerships) and general business transactions related to real estate holdings. - Client Advocacy:
Act as the lead point of contact for developers, ranch owners, and commercial investors.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in real estate transactional law. - Licensure:
Active member of the New Mexico State Bar (or eligible for immediate reciprocity). - Technical Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with New Mexico's specific real estate statutes and local Santa Fe zoning/land-use regulations. - Work Style:
This is a full-time, in-office role (M-F) in Santa Fe. Our client prioritizes a collaborative, face-to-face team culture.
- Base Salary: $105,000 - $145,000 (DOE).
