System Analyst

One of our clients is hiring a Systems Analyst I to configure, support, and optimize healthcare applications for business and clinical users. This role provides foundational functional and technical support while collaborating with stakeholders to resolve system issues, enhance workflows, and maintain application performance.

The Systems Analyst I partners with clinical and operational teams to analyze, design, test, implement, and document system enhancements. This position plays a key role in troubleshooting software issues, supporting system upgrades, and ensuring applications align with business and patient care workflows. The role operates in a 24/7 support environment with rotating on-call responsibilities.

• Configure and maintain assigned healthcare applications
• Provide functional and technical support to business and clinical users
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues
• Support system maintenance, upgrades, and optimization initiatives

• Contribute to system analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflows and user experience
• Assist in implementing enhancements and application updates
• Ensure timely problem resolution and minimal operational disruption

• Provide rotating on-call support, including weekends and holidays
• Respond to system outages and critical incidents
• Travel as required to support operational needs
• Maintain system integrity in high-availability healthcare environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare IT, or related field preferred
• Advanced Information Systems or Business degree considered an asset
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, healthcare operations, clinical systems, medical records, patient access, or revenue cycle
• Relevant bachelor’s degree may substitute for required experience
• If supporting Epic, Proficient or Certified status in one supported module required within 6 months of start date
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office and healthcare application technologies preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• 24/7 support environment with rotating on-call schedule
• May require travel and extended hours during system outages or project deadlines
• Exposure to general office and technical computing environments
• Physical requirement: ability to lift up to 50 lbs and extended use of computer systems
• Reports to Manager of Information Systems
