Distribution Clerk Central Supply​/Per Diem

One of our clients is looking for a Central Supply Technician to support daily hospital operations by distributing supplies and equipment across all hospital units. This role ensures timely availability of materials while maintaining safety, accuracy, and compliance with hospital standards.

• Distribute medical supplies and equipment to hospital departments as needed
• Provide direct logistical support to clinical and non-clinical units
• Receive, store, and issue supplies according to hospital procedures
• Operate storeroom and distribution equipment safely
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety guidelines
• Meet daily operational deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Follow infection control, safety, and environmental policies
• Support inventory organization and replenishment activities

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer literacy with ability to learn new software applications
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• At least 6 months of experience in Central Supply or a medical environment preferred
• Strong reliability, physical stamina, and teamwork skills

• Reports to the Team Supervisor, Distribution Services
• Daily exposure to blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, and weather elements
• Physically demanding role requiring walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and operate storeroom equipment
