Reporting to the CoC Director, the Balance of State CoC Program Officer supports agencies in planning and implementing CoC functions per the Interim Rule, local standards, governance charters, and community goals to end homelessness. The Northern New Mexico Balance of State serves 13 counties, including Santa Fe, Taos, and McKinley.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Coordinate Balance of State CoC meetings, agendas, minutes, and committees. Lead Housing Inventory and Point-in-Time Counts. Provide training for CoC providers. Support partnerships, statewide initiatives, and funding competitions, including application and ranking processes. Maintain CoC standards, documents, and reports. Facilitate presentations, work groups, and planning. Assist CoC Director with statewide homelessness initiatives.
Other Information/Requirements:
32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm or as arranged with supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend hours to meet with clients.
