Team Builders provides a pay range that is based on skill and experience. The advertised range is:
- Base pay: $16.00/hr – $20.00/hr
Team Builders is a community‑based behavioral health organization dedicated to providing unconditional care to adults, children, and families. The organization values work‑life balance, creativity, and continuous professional development.
Roles and Responsibilities- Follow Team Builders’ philosophy, policies, and standards of conduct.
- Comply with all program service requirements and state regulations for services to children with SED, adults with SMI, and individuals with COD and other chronic health conditions.
- Form helping partnerships with clients and collaterals, including educational professionals, corrections personnel, child welfare workers, and natural supports, to achieve service goals.
- Set and maintain professional boundaries to ensure client safety and preserve the helping role.
- Document initial mental health or functional assessments, identifying strengths, needs, and barriers, within 72 hours of service rendering.
- Record activities on service notes and complete them within 24 hours of service rendering.
- Update client service plans and team meeting forms as required, completing them within 72 hours of service rendering.
- Seek program or clinical supervision regarding incidents and file Incident Reports per agency policy.
- Attend weekly supervision meetings, staff meetings, clinical seminars, and training sessions as assigned.
- Maintain client documentation in accordance with agency and state/federal standards.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in team meetings to review client progress and needs.
- Participate in clinical seminars, CQI meetings, and training as assigned.
- Submit completed documentation in a timely manner for billing and CQI purposes.
- Perform school, home, and community‑based support services as needed or directed.
- Seek consultation and assistance when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field plus 1 year of experience with SMI adults.
- Associate degree in a human services related field plus 2 years of experience with SMI adults.
- High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years of experience with SMI adults.
- Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) status by the State of New Mexico.
- Experience working with individuals impacted by mental health, substance use, or co‑occurring disorders.
- Obtained a Criminal Records Clearance (local, state, and FBI).
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Demonstrated skills in teaching the curriculum to consumer family members.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the service area.
