Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for greeting patients in warm friendly tone to allow families to feel welcomed at clinic during their visit.
- Registration and interviewing of patients to obtain accurate demographic and financial information.
- Computer entry of new/updated patient demographic information.
- Answers phones.
- Prepare medical records for clinic visits by compiling information from various sources.
- Tracks dictation to ensure notes are received for all patient visits.
- Collects co-pay amounts and balances due for services rendered.
- Distributes financial assistance packets and provides basic guidance to patients.
- Refers complex or non-compliant patient financial issues to Financial Specialist or Site Manager.
