About us We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our Accounting + Finance team. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a professional with a robust understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in account analysis, cash reports, grant tracking, and accounts receivable. Job Details Responsibilities
Perform and oversee all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus Bank Reconciliations.Expertly manage accounts receivable, ensuring all outstanding invoices are promptly addressed and resolved.Conduct detailed account analysis and provide insightful financial data reports to drive business decision-making.Prepare and present accurate cash reports, detailing the financial status and cash flow of the organization.Track and manage grant funding, ensuring all financial activities align with grant requirements and restrictions.Collaborate with other finance team members to prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Assist with annual budget preparation and the implementation of financial plans.Participate in the preparation for annual audits.Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain up-to-date knowledge.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.Experience in account analysis, cash reports, grant tracking, and accounts receivable.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.Interested in hearing more?
