We’re seeking a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Capital Markets Accounting team. The Staff Accountant on the Prime Financing/Capital Markets team will have strong accounting and operational expertise, the ability to communicate with cross-functional partners outside Finance (such as Financing, Data, Trading Ops and Engineering), and a drive to make a meaningful impact at a dynamic, high-growth technology company.

Reporting to the Manager, Prime Financing, this role requires meticulous attention to detail and a financial and analytical mindset. It offers career development opportunities within a rapidly growing organization.

• Prepare monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and cash flows.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial results presentations for executive management.
• Assist with preparing financial statement disclosures and support related to financing products and derivatives, working closely with financial reporting, accounting policy and auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to test and operationalize new areas of the business to facilitate streamlined accounting transactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures over platform accounting activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of scalable accounting processes to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze data against business drivers to identify trends and issues.
• Provide support for internal and external audits related to specific areas of responsibility.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures as assigned.
• Support ad hoc financial information requests and analyses and other special projects as assigned.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience;
  Big 4 public accounting and/or industry experience in fintech/financial services.
• BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA is highly desirable.
• Able to work well in a dynamic environment, implement process improvements, work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto economy.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or other programming languages.
• Experience working in Netsuite, Flo Qast and G-Suite.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges. Full-time offers include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)). Base salary range shown is $108,630—$127,800 USD. Total compensation includes equity and bonus eligibility and benefits.
