We are seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented, permanent accountant to join our Accounting + Finance team. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a professional with a robust understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in account analysis, cash reports, grant tracking, and accounts receivable. • Perform and oversee all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus Bank Reconciliations.
• Expertly manage accounts receivable, ensuring all outstanding invoices are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Conduct detailed account analysis and provide insightful financial data reports to drive business decision‑making.
• Prepare and present accurate cash reports, detailing the financial status and cash flow of the organization.
• Track and manage grant funding, ensuring all financial activities align with grant requirements and restrictions.
• Collaborate with other finance team members to prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and the implementation of financial plans.
• Participate in the preparation for annual audits.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Experience in account analysis, cash reports, grant tracking, and accounts receivable.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
