Overview Live and work in THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT. CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center is located at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Santa Fe, NM. We are seeking a full-time Hematologist-Oncologist to join our Regional Cancer Center. The Organization & Regional Cancer Center CHRISTUS St. Vincent was founded in 1865 by the Sisters of Charity. We are a private, not-for-profit community health system serving over 300,000 people across 19,000 square miles and seven counties in New Mexico.
We are the only CMS 5-star hospital in New Mexico and are a proud affiliate of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, which provides access to Mayo resources for research, diagnostics, and treatment protocols. Our Regional Cancer Center is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of cancer treatment and supportive services designed to address physical, emotional, psychological, and practical needs of patients and families.
We leverage the EPIC/Beacon EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure seamless coordination and continuity of care. What We Offer Our multidisciplinary clinical team includes medical oncology, breast surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and radiation oncology, with in-house advanced practice clinicians. In addition to Mayo Clinic Care Network affiliation, we provide access to CHRISTUS St. Vincent's Clinical Trials and Research portfolio, including pharma-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated research.
We provide a broad range of supportive services to address patients and families’ needs (medical, emotional, psychological, and practical). Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and support services.
- Participate in tumor boards and clinical research initiatives.
- Share in practice call responsibilities.
- Utilize EPIC EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings for seamless care coordination.
- 3+ years of post-training experience in hematology-oncology.
- MD/DO required.
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico.
Board-certified/board-eligible Hematologist-Oncologist to join a multidisciplinary cancer care team. Preference for full-time employed position with flexible schedule (4X10 or 5X8); applicants seeking less than full-time will be considered.
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary for full-time is $725,000 plus additional RVU-earning potential.
