Quality Assurance Coordinator - Santa Fe Springs
Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, enabling flexibility and resilience throughout the supply chain.
Purpose/SummaryTo ensure accurate receiving and shipping of customers’ freight, maintain inventory integrity, investigate and reconcile all inventory and shipping discrepancies, and create reports as required.
Key Responsibilities- Audit all outbound shipments for quantity, SKU, customer requirements and pallet count.
- Identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory reports and logs, including Comparison Report, Metric Reports, and Error Logs.
- Assist customers with daily checks as requested.
- Check freight for accurate paperwork, placards and/or label placement.
- Reconcile overages, shortages and damages.
- Inform Dock Lead and Customer Service Manager of any non‑compliant freight.
- Verify all freight pulls, transfers, movement of freight and orders.
- Assist in planning inbound and outbound loads.
- Process driver paperwork and load documents.
- Take photos of outbound loads.
- Assist CSR and other staff as needed.
- Assist with small parcel assembly.
- Cross‑train in other areas of the team, specifically Customer Service.
- Support facility commitment to quality, including customer-specific Quality program(s), training requirements and work instructions.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Perform job‑related duties as specified by management.
- Self‑starter attitude; high energy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and organized, with ability to focus on details and compare data.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent time‑management skills to manage high volume in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to perform well with time‑sensitive tasks.
- Ability to work and communicate with both warehouse personnel and office staff appropriately.
- Industry experience preferred; not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

$20–$21.50 per hour. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
