- Drive Sales Initiatives:
Lead field sales initiatives to surpass sales targets across all divisions (LTL, TL, Expedited, Warehousing, Local Cartage, etc.) through strategic planning, resource allocation, and goal setting. - Lead Weekly Sales Meetings:
Organize and conduct weekly sales meetings to discuss team progress, strategize on overcoming challenges, and enhance collaboration and transparency. - Track Team Initiatives:
Monitor individual sales team executive initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader sales goals and contributing to team success. - Support Prospecting Efforts:
Develop & assist in prospecting efforts to identify and engage potential clients, leveraging your expertise to enhance team effectiveness. - Develop Sales Materials:
Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition to the target audience. - Monitor Performance Metrics:
Evaluate sales performance metrics to provide targeted feedback, recognize achievements, and identify improvement areas. - Work with company CRM and Lead Generation Platforms:
Drive adoption on the platforms such as Zoho CRM and Zoom Info. - Plan and facilitate company sponsored events, joining sales representation on these events to meet the guests/clients and ensure ROI.
- Manage Scheduling:
Oversee team scheduling, including day-offs and PTOs, to ensure optimal staffing levels while maintaining work-life balance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of field sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in transportation or logistics.
- At least 2 years of managerial experience in a sales context is required.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and energetic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
