Overview
The HRIS Assistant plays a critical role in the HR team by managing administrative tasks and providing support across various HR functions. Their responsibilities include handling administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and assisting with Recruitment, Human Resources and Operational processes. Perform other tasks and duties as requested.

- Bi-weekly reporting of all new hires to California’s Employment Development Department (EDD)
- Perform periodic audits to verify data
- Develop, generate and distribute routine reports
- Responsible for processing Change Request in company HRIS system (UKG)
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and systems performance issues
- Post Job Postings External and Internal
- Review, communicate and schedule interviews for job posting applicants
- Verify documents to determine employment eligibility
- Special projects as assigned
- Create Barcodes using Bar Code Wiz
- Determine employment eligibility for company’s Safety Incentive Program
- Ensure I9 compliance
- Assist with auditing New Hire information in UKG
- Annual EEO-1 Reporting
- BA/BS degree (highly desired) or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with an HRIS database.
- Some knowledge and understanding of HR Business processes and procedures.
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Some computer data input experience highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to multi-task
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) helpful, but not mandatory
Range: $21 to $24 an hour
