Join the team as a Talent Resources Generalist at MATT Construction
, the General Contractor behind iconic Los Angeles landmarks such as the Broad Museum and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
- Coordinate and support campus recruiting events to maintain a pipeline for internship and Project Engineer roles.
- Recruit experienced staff across the company in partnership with Talent leadership and hiring managers.
- Participate in career fairs, information sessions, on‑campus events, and professional association engagements.
- Manage event logistics, registrations, scheduling, travel, and participant coordination.
- Network with campus affinity groups and industry‑specific student organizations.
- Partner with Operations leaders to identify project assignments for interns and new hires.
- Assist with intern program events and support activities.
- Execute the administrative recruiting lifecycle, including preparing and extending offers, initiating background checks, completing I‑9/E‑Verify processes, and submitting vendor invoices.
- Support new‑hire onboarding, cross‑boarding, and exit activities.
- Ensure quality onboarding experiences through coordination, communication, and system readiness.
- Enter and maintain employee records in multiple Talent and enterprise systems.
- Maintain SharePoint materials, including updates to Talent resources, policies, and forms.
- Generate weekly recruiting activity reports and other Talent reporting as needed; assist with preparing Talent dashboard analytics.
- Track expenses and monitor Talent program budgets.
- Manage MATT SWAG inventory and administer the Company Service Recognition Program.
- Ensure labor‑law poster compliance across offices and jobsites.
- Draft promotional text for Talent offerings for internal newsletters.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR coordination, Training & Development, or related field.
- Strong analytical and data reporting skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and Talent Management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
