Operations Manager, Business Administration
Akkodis is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a Contract with a client in Hinkley, CA
. The role requires strong procurement expertise to manage jobsite material orders, track and coordinate project deliveries, and ensure accurate receipt and inventory of all project materials.
Note: Must train in Santa Fe Springs for 4 days. The client will cover the hotel and $45.00 per day in food expenses. They will also cover the candidate's gas and a $125.00 reimbursement for steel-toe shoes.
Rate Range: $32/hour to $35/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Processing all jobsite material orders and ensuring accuracy in procurement documentation.
- Managing and tracking all site‑specific material and equipment orders, including those purchased by both and project owners.
- Scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring all project deliverables to maintain on‑time availability of materials.
- Tracking stored, staged, and inventoried materials and distributing inventory to field teams as needed.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager on invoice reviews, approvals, and procurement‑related financial tracking.
- Identifying and communicating order discrepancies or material damages and ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in jobsite logistics or procurement, ideally within solar or renewable energy projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage procurement activities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven experience tracking materials, coordinating deliveries, and resolving discrepancies to support large scale project execution.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
