Job Summary

The Unit Chef assists the Unit Manager in managing culinary teams and operations in dining services, including menu development, food quality, safety, and financial management.

Salary and Schedule

Salary: $85,550 annually. Full-time, 40 hours/week. Schedule details to be discussed at interview.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include managing food production, leading staff, ensuring safety standards, and supporting department leadership and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

Management experience in food services, leadership skills, culinary expertise, and effective communication. Preferred:
Degree in related field, bilingual abilities, industry affiliations.

Additional Conditions

Background check, valid California driver’s license, Serv Safe certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexible schedule required.
